We are looking for a responsible, reliable and willing Tire Specialist to join our maintenance team.
The Tire Specialist will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and replacing commercial truck and trailer tires, making sure that all work is done safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company and industry standards.
Main responsibilities:
- Inspect tires for wear, damage, and potential safety issues.
- Assemble, disassemble, balance, and repair commercial truck and trailer tires.
- Perform tire rotations and check pressure.
- Replace worn or damaged tires in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, replacements, and services performed.
- Ensure proper installation and torque procedures.
- Attend to roadside services and emergency tire repairs when necessary.
- Comply with all safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.
Requirements:
- Experience working with commercial truck and trailer tires is preferred, but not required.
- Good mechanical ability and practical skills.
- Ability to use tire equipment and tools safely and correctly.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work in a dynamic shop environment
- Physical ability to lift and handle tires and heavy equipment.
- Basic knowledge of workshop tools and maintenance procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a truck shop or in fleet maintenance.
- Experience in road tire repair — it will be a great advantage.
- Knowledge of DOT security standards.

Compensation: $15.00 - $31.00 per hour
