Join CRC TRANSPORT LLC as a Diesel Mechanic (Truck & Trailer) and be a vital part of our dedicated team in Bear, DE! We are looking for skilled mechanics who are passionate about keeping our fleet running smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel trucks and trailers.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Replace or repair defective parts, such as brakes, engines, and transmissions.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in diesel technology.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment at all times.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in diesel mechanics preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in diesel truck and trailer repair.
- Valid CDL license is a plus, but not required.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
